Health and Safety

  • Those in charge of the child/children are solely responsible for the control, care and safety of their child/children at all times whilst at a Messy Bubs session. Messy Bubs cannot accept any such responsibility. All materials are made in the knowledge that they are to be played with under a parent/carer’s supervision.

  • Under no circumstance will Messy Bubs take responsibility for loss or damages to personal possessions during a messy play session.

  • Those in charge of the child/children are under no circumstances allowed to leave the building without taking the child/children within their care with them.

  • Messy Bubs reserves the right to require anyone, child or adult, to leave if their behaviour is likely to threaten the safety or enjoyment of others. Attending adults are responsible for the safety of their child/children during each session. This includes the use of all materials and equipment and to ensure that you and your child/children behave in a way to not cause injury or abuse to other children or adults.

  • We STRONGLY advise that you dress yourself and your child in clothing appropriate for messy play as Messy Bubs will not be liable for any stains or marks on children’s clothes.

  • Please do not attend the session with your child if they are ill and risk infecting other children. Messy Bubs reserves the right to request a child leave the session if it is felt they are an infection risk to others. As an example, where a child has suffered from sickness and diarrhea it is advised to avoid group activities for 48hours. Please also inform a member of staff if your child has had a toilet accident so the station/products can be taken away to be cleaned sterilised and replaced.

  • We do not use dairy, soy or nuts in any of our sessions. However, some products have allergy warnings labels that state ‘may contain traces’ of these products.

  • Please advise of any food allergies at time of booking and contact us directly to ensure our session is suitable for your little one.

  • We make every effort to supply items that are either edible, non-toxic/ hypoallergenic. However, we advise that all materials provided including foodstuffs are not to be consumed by the babies/toddlers as some products (despite being edible) may present a choking hazard. We do not accept any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, allergic reaction or illness found to be directly attributable from any product or item provided. It remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian in attendance for supervising the children they are accompanying.

  • No drink or liquids are to be brought onto the activity tarped area due to safety.

  • Please ensure all shoes are removed and placed outside of tarped area. Parents/carers must ensure that any verrucas or blisters are covered with a plaster and sock before entering the tarped area.

  • Nappies are to be taken away after class or event and not disposed of in the facility bins.

  • NO RUNNING is allowed in the facilities.

Attendance

  • Please note that you take full responsibility for the session you have booked into. No refunds or transfers will be given if you have booked your child into a session that does not accommodate their age range.

  • On arrival, please can you sign your child in. Please can you notify Messy Bubs if you're unable to attend a session or an event that you’ve booked into.

  • Each ticket purchased includes entry for ONE supervising adult only. Please contact us directly should you require additional carers.

  • We do not keep any finished or part finished work from session activities. All materials or work remaining will be discarded. Please make sure you take your child/children’s work away with you.

  • We regret we are unable to provide refunds or transfers for non-attendance or delayed attendance.

Payment

  • Payment is required at time of booking.

  • Payment has an added booking site fee.

  • Due to hire charges, preparation and material costs, payment is non-refundable or non-changeable for missed sessions. This includes non-attendance for illness.

Cancellations

  • Messy Bubs may have to cancel sessions due to unforeseen circumstances. All participants will be contacted and a credit voucher will be provided, which will be valid for 6 months from the date of cancellation.

Photo Consent

  • Photos and small video clips will be taken during Messy Bubs sessions and may be used for our website, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram material. Advertising material.

  • If you do not wish to have photos taken of yourself or your child/children please state this on your booking form. We will also always ask permission prior to taking photos.
