At Messy Bubs, our quarterly webinars are more than just a check-in—they’re a chance to come together as a community, reflect on where we are, and align on where we’re going next.
This quarter’s webinar was particularly special. It brought together honest conversations about the current economic climate, the evolving needs of families, and how we, as a brand, continue to show up with purpose.

Understanding Families in Today’s Climate
There’s no denying that many families are feeling the impact of rising living costs and shifting priorities. We’re seeing changes in how parents spend, how often they attend activities, and what they truly value.
And what’s become clear is this:
Families are seeking connection more than ever.
Not just activities but meaningful experiences. Not just outings but spaces where they feel supported, seen, and understood.

Our Focus for the Year Ahead: Connection First
In response, Messy Bubs is leaning into what matters most.
Mini Messy Bubs: Supporting our smallest babies
Our Mini Messy Bubs program, designed for babies under 1 and their caregivers, is a key focus this year.
These sessions are:
Gentle and age appropriate
Focused on sensory exploration
Designed to nurture bonding and connection
But just as importantly, they create space for caregivers to connect, to slow down, share experiences, and feel part of a supportive community.
Because sometimes, the most important part of a session isn’t just the play it’s the people.
Award-Winning Messy Play Sessions
Our signature messy play sessions remain at the heart of what we do.
They provide:
Creative, hands-on experiences for little ones
Opportunities for quality time between parent and child
A chance to switch off from the outside world and simply be present
This year, you’ll continue to see these sessions delivered through:
Weekly classes
Pop-up events
Special themed experiences
All designed to bring families together in meaningful ways.

Elevating Our Marketing in a Digital World
We were also lucky to be joined by Dan from Social Media Consultancy, who provided valuable training on navigating Instagram in today’s ever-changing digital and AI-driven landscape.
Our franchisees walked away with:
Practical strategies to show up consistently
Tips to create engaging content through posts, reels, and stories
A deeper understanding of how to connect with their local communities online
In a world where social media is constantly evolving, it’s never been more important to stay adaptable and authentic.

Celebrating Excellence: Our Annual Awards
We wrapped up the evening by celebrating the incredible achievements across our network at the Messy Bubs Annual Awards.

Moving Forward Together
This webinar reminded us of the strength within our community.
While the world around us continues to shift, our purpose remains the same:to create spaces where children can explore, and families can connect.
As we move forward, our focus is clear:
Supporting babies and caregivers through meaningful early experiences
Providing creative, quality time through messy play
Strengthening community, both in person and online
Because at the end of the day, Messy Bubs is about more than play.
It’s about people and our littlest bubs.
